What do you like most about your job?
Change, constant change. There's no time to get complacent.
What is the best example of PR you have seen
recently?
If I can use our own examples it's Laura's ruthless
exploitation of DLA's international board visit to Liverpool.
Where is your favourite place in the world that you have
visited?
I've got really special memories of Andorra
where I lived for a while. The calzone pizza in a tiny restaurant
in Canillo can't be beaten and lounging in outdoor heated pools
while the snow falls at Caldea is magical.
What do you do to unwind?
A good book in a hot bath with a cold beer.
What are you currently working on?
Integrating our new colleagues from the Factory acquisition and
driving through the PRCA consultancy management
standard, our industry's version of ISO9001.
What are you doing this weekend?
Relaxing with husband Paul and daughter Charlotte then having
friends over for a Greek style dinner party on Saturday (we're
doing a round the world thing that's so far involved tapas and
Mexican).
What are you reading at the moment?
Wilkie Collin's Woman in White. My dad and I are working
through a Telegraph's article on
The Perfect Library. I'm also reading Michael
Gerber's E Myth.
What is your most prized possession?
My wedding ring. It belonged to my maternal grandmother who died
long before I was born.
What is your favourite quote?
Quocunque Jeceris Stabit , the quote
behind the three legs of the Isle of Man. It means 'whichever
way you throw me I stand'. I like that, it's resilient.
