Neptune theatre renaissance gets underway

Account manager Jade Mallia tried her hand at presenting last week, when she stood in for Granada Report's Ann O'Connor*, and interviewed Peter Linford, director of Nobles Construction, and leader of the city council, Joe Anderson, as work to complete the £750,000 refurbishment of Liverpool's historic Neptune Theatre started.

*Ahem, by presenting we actually mean she held the microphone. A career in broadcasting is not beckoning and we won't be seeing Jade on our screens any time soon.
