What do you love most about your job?

The daily challenge of continuous improvement of an already good team and business.

How do you like to unwind?

A beer is usually first choice of poison; every moment with my kids, and the joy of just watching a great movie

What is your favourite film and why?

Which leads me to.. probably, "It's a Wonderful Life" - for the message of triumph of hope over despair, and the fact it's usually on around Christmas.

Favourite headline?

The recent Times headline of "China to buy Liverpool". Fastest growing economy buys former second city of the Empire ! Oh, it's just a football story.

If you found a Genie's lamp, and you were granted one wish, what would it be?

The powers of Superman in a Kryptonite free world.

What is your proudest PR moment to date?

Helping persuade the global group IPREX that Paver Smith was worthy enough to join its ranks.

Biggest adrenaline rush?

My recent chain-assisted ascent of Pico Anayet in the Pyrenees.

What's caught your eye in the PR world recently?

The vibrancy, resonance and mild irritation of the Go Compare campaign

TV or radio?

TV, even though 1,000 channels has not really improved the quality very much
