What do you love most about your job?

The constant variety and my intimate knowledge of San Carlo's menu.

How do you like to unwind?

Reading the kids their bed time stories; shooting my supper; fly fishing and climbing very large mountains.

What is your favourite film and why?

Any of the Toy Story trilogy - there's summat for everyone and I'm not ashamed to admit the odd tear or two during Toy Story 3

Favourite headline?

Gotcha!, the Sun's infamous reaction to the sinking of the General Belgrano during the Falklands War. It summed up all that's good and bad about patriotism

If you found a Genie's lamp, and you were granted one wish, what would it be?

Health and happiness for my family - although I've got that right know, so a triple roll-over on the Euromillions wouldn't go amiss.

What is your proudest PR moment to date?

Watching a great team perform, day-in, day-out.

Biggest adrenaline rush?

The day when Tim Cahill lifts the European Cup will probably suffice.

What's caught your eye in the PR world recently?

The fact that our industry survived the recession, shrinking just 0.75% in 2009. Just shows the value we add to clients…

TV or radio?

TV: I can enjoy it with the kids and it's surprisingly educational

Sweet or savoury?

Savoury: not much beats the joy of a quality curry.
