10 things about... Jennifer Edwards

Jenny Edwards

Who would be your ideal dinner date, past or present?

Heston Blumenthal. The words culinary genius are banded about to often these days but he really is. Obviously I would get him to cook and I'd quite fancy trying out his flavoured wallpaper, savoury ice lollies and edible cutlery.

Best event you have seen recently?

I know it was a few years ago now but both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics were pretty spectacular, the UK are going to have to pull something amazing out the bag in 2012 to top that.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

A butterfly, I quite like the idea of just being able to float around from place to place.

Which aspect of your career do you enjoy the most?

Watching months of hard work all come together at a successful event and the feeling of accomplishment once it is all over.

If your life story was made into a film, who would play the leading role?

Isla Fisher, she is the only actress I can think of who is as small as me.

Favourite writer/ columnist?

Jane Austen. I think I was about 10 years old when I first went to see the film Sense and Sensibility at the cinema after reading the book.

Print or online?

Online for keeping you up to date with breaking news, although I do love reading the Sunday papers

What do you like most about Liverpool?

The fact that it is my home and full of familiar faces and also Its namesake football team, although there is not much to like about them at the moment but I'm keeping the faith.

If you weren't in PR/Events, what would you do?

I studied classical civilisation at school and I always wanted to be an archaeologist, excavating the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

iPhone or Blackberry?

Neither. Technology takes over my life too much as it is without having a mini computer on my possession at all times.
